Special Tests Training Day - Curborough Sprint Course, Staffordshire

A day's practical training for crews looking to improve performance on Special Tests on Targa or Historic Road Rallies.

Using the asphalt surface of Curborough Sprint Course.

Use your own car (subject to meeting Motorsport UK regulations for Targa's or Historic Road Rallies or Junior 1000) for maximum benefit.

A range of practical exercises supported by theory back up will be used to develop the skills required to perform well on tests.

Limited to 10 crews to enable plenty of time on tests and focused training support by Motorsport UK coach Graham Raeburn.

All drivers must have a driving licence, minimum age 17, unless a registered Junior 1000 driver.

Do I need to bring a suitable car?
Yes - the training will be undertaken in your own car, the car needs to meet Motorsport UK requirements for Targa Rallies or Historic Road Rallies or Junior 1000 regulations.
Do you need to come as a crew?
Yes - the tests will require a navigator as well as the driver to practice targa crew skills. If you are unable to find a navigator please get in touch and post on social media to try and find one.
Junior 1000 drivers will require a navigator with a full driving licence.
Can we swap seats during the day?
Yes - provided you both meet the driving licence requirement you may swap seats during the day.
